Obverse:
Head of young Artemis right.

The elder son of Antiochos II and Laodike, Seleukos spent much much of his reign in conflict with his younger brother, Antiochos Hierax, who ruled independently in Asia Minor. Seleukos was killed by a fall from his horse after a troubled reign of twenty years.
