King Antiochus VI, Dionysos of the Seleucid
Kingdom reigned 145-142 B.C. - The infant son of Alexander Balas, Antiochos VI
was proclaimed king, in opposition to Demetrios II, by the general Diodotos.
Antioch soon fell to the re rebels, and Syria had two kings until Antiochos was
murdered by Diodotos, who now aspired to the throne himself.
